Megérett a fekete szőlő Phoenix-ben

November elején tartotta szüreti mulatságát a Phoenix-i Magyar Kulturális Egyesület (HCAP). Hagyományhoz illően, a vendégeket a magyar konyha különlegességeivel kínálták, mely mellé, természetesen, magyar borokkal koccinthattak.

Mialatt vendégeink falatoztak, a Napocska Magyar Iskola diákjai szüreti előadásukkal szórakoztatták őket. Ezt követte a közös zenés-táncos mulatság, melynek főgazdája Bodor Tibor volt, aki jobbnál-jobb magyar dalokkal biztosította az est sikerességét.

Ez úton is köszönetet szeretnénk mondani minden kedves résztvevőnek! Hálásak vagyunk, hogy velünk ünnepeltek ezen a napon. Köszönettel tartozunk minden önkéntesnek, minden adományozónak, valamint a szülőknek és gyerekeknek, akik fáradtságot nem ismerve eljártak próbákra, hogy a Napocska Magyar Iskola egy színvonalas kis előadással lepje meg a közönséget!

The Hungarian Cultural Association of Phoenix (HCAP) organized its second Harvest Festival at the beginning of November. Following traditions, we served delicious Hungarian food next to which we offered Hungarian wines of course. Meanwhile our guests had their dinner, the students of the Napocska Hungarian Schools made sure to entertain them. This was followed by a traditional Hungarian party, with folk dances, and Hungarian music provided by Tibor Bodor who made sure to entertain everyone with a good variety of Hungarian songs.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all who have been there. Thank you for celebrating with us! We appreciate all the help that our volunteers provided, we are thankful for all the donations that we have received, and we can’t thank the parents and children enough for coming to our rehearsals. The performance of the Napocska Hungarian School was of a good quality, the children were darling and everybody enjoyed watching them.

We hope to see you on our next event on December 15th!
