Farsangoltunk

***Please see English below***

Várunk szeretettel elkövetkező rendezvényeinkre is!

We celebrated the Hungarian carnival, Farsang a week ago. There was plenty of tasty Hungarian food, but most of all “farsangi fánk” (like doughnuts). We would like to thank the dads from the Napocska Hungarian School for spending their time and energy frying almost two hundred doughnuts!

During the celebration we did a drawing and costume competition, which was followed by the doughnut eating contest for kids and adults.

Thank you all who joined us and for all your support given to the Hungarian Cultural Association of Phoenix, mainly to its Napocska Hungarian School. Can’t wait to see you at our upcoming events!

Our goal is to nurture the Hungarian language, culture, identity, and traditions, and make them available to present and future generations through educational programs, celebrations, commemorative events, and social gatherings. Through our mission, we aim to broaden familiarity with the Hungarian culture within the American community, thereby nurturing and strengthening Hungarian-American ties and relationships.
