Volunteers are integral to our success — we truly couldn’t do it without you. We have an opportunity for everyone, whether you are on your own mission to give back, or your entire family wants to take part. We try to show our appreciation, whether through free or discounted tickets, or food at the end of an event. We also provide proof of volunteering that is accepted by workplaces and schools.

Typical things we need help with:

  1. Preparations – before the event: e.g. grant writing, promotions, baking for a bake sale, packing up the truck
  2. Day of the event – setting up and decorating, ticket sales, tabling at the info booth, cooking, food sales, sale of donated items, kids’ table e.g. crafts, face painting, tear down and packing
  3. Presentations, teaching
