What will the dinner be?

The menu changes every year, but it is always something traditional to the Hungarian cuisine prepared by our wonderful volunteers. It includes Hungarian style appetizers, main course (this year it is pork tenderloin with sides), and dessert (gundel palacsinta). You will also get a glass of wine on the house and more alcohol will be available for sale. Please e-mail us for vegetarian options at info@hcaphoenix.org

*The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the menu in case some ingredients can not be found or volunteers for some reason can not deliver.

Performers of the 2025 festivity

We usually invite different artists each year. These performers are either flying in from Hungary or they are well known Hungarian performers based in the U.S.

This year Eszterlánc Folk Dance Ensemble will entertain us with traditional Hungarian folk dances. They will also organize a dance circle. The ensemble will showcase beautiful folk outfits too.

Children of the Napocska Hungarian School are also performing at this event on a yearly basis.

I am not Hungarian/ I don’t speak Hungarian. Will I enjoy it?

Definitely! We all speak English, and music/dance is something universal. We are absolutely sure that you will enjoy the concert. You will also appreciate the grape pressing demonstration. Moreover, the performance of the Napocska school will be delightful. If you are not a Hungarian, more so! It will be a new experience! Come and learn more about our cuisine, harvest traditions, folk dances, as well as listen to some amazing Hungarian music.
