Waiting for the Angels at the Napocska

Transylvanian Hungarians are waiting for the Angels, in most parts of Hungary children are waiting for the child Jesus to bring them presents on Christmas Eve.

This Saturday we are going to prepare for their arrival at the Napocska Hungarian School with learning songs and rehearsing for our Christmas celebration.

Also we are going to make some gifts for each other. The hand crafted presents will come from the heart and hopefully will be more cherished than something that we could have bought from the store. We, at Napocska, think that everything that’s given from the heart and is made by our little hands, has more value than anything bought. And we’re not selling anything either, since giving is the most wonderful thing you can do. Not just at Christmas 🙂

Can’t wait to see you on Saturday!
