Language Opportunities for Adults
Basic/Beginner and Beginner/Intermediate
We are offering Hungarian language classes for Basic-Beginners in 14 week sessions.*
Group meets each Wednesday for 1 hour at 5pm and 6pm (MST). Classes are held online. You are welcome to join us from anywhere, just make sure to set an additional clock to Arizona time (which is MST).**
*We need 4 students to start the class. If you sign up and we don’t have enough students for the class you signed up for, we will refund your money or give you a choice to join another class if appropriate.
**If after two classes, you decide the program is not for you, we will refund the rest of your money, excluding the price for the classes you took.
***Prices ($17 and $15 per class) are considered donations. HCAP is a 501(c) 3 tax-exempt organization that is supported from your generous donations. Your donations go towards expenses for cultural and educational events as well as expenses related to online tools such as Zoom account, Padlet, etc. and payments for your teacher.

If you are interested in practicing the language outside of the Language Classes, please check out our FREE opportunities.
We have a conversation centered monthly meetup, the Beszélsz Magyarul – Hungarian Happy Hour for those who wish to practice their Hungarian.
We also hold annual events, like the Harvest Festival, Christmas Market, concerts, poetry nights, and, most of all, our largest festival, the HunFest, most of which are free to attend, and give you an opportunity to learn or practice the language, since we use both English and Hungarian during these events.
